We heard the sad news that Raliena, a daughter of Lady W's died delivering a colt.  Lady W has had 3 offspring by Flemmingh - Raliena being the first and achieving Keur (lives in France), Unescoba a gelding achieving Ster and competing very successfully at 4th level in dressage on the W. coast of Cda and a young filly- Elise, that is a yearling and lives with us.  This was a very successful cross and it is truly sad to hear that Raliena is gone.  It sounds as if she went quickly which means she would not have suffered - but it is certainly a loss of bloodlines and a blow for Monique and Rutger Seinen.
