September 2, 2010 - Keuring News - Success at last......

Well, all I can say, is that it was a day to remember and several wishes realized.

Lady W Keur became Preferent. Cashew (Johnson x Lady W) became Ster and Keur eligible.  85 for canter!! Cashew had a horrible hoof abscess that plagued her for the past month. She was not in the best of condition - but it didn't hurt any longer so she could move>>>>

Coleman was awarded Ster as well.  What a beautiful fancy boy.

Beasinaa, a beautiful mare by Pyriet out of our Rosinaa Elite, was in the ISF Cup and in the 3-7 yr old Studbook inspection for jumper mares and became a Keur mare.  I have not seen her since the day I took her to her new owners - Cindi and Doreen Orr, when she was about 6 months old.  Wow - what a lovely girl.   She has Rosinaa's basic wise goodness and a touch of elegance.  One very nice mare.

I will be the first to say, I have had my share of keuring frustrations and disappointments. You hear very often that breeding horses is not for the faint of heart.  When you put your heart and soul into it - it is total rejection when it doesn't quite go the way you envision it.  I know not every keuring will bear the fruit that this one did - so I will savour this moment for awhile.  It was so neat.

For that moment, God was in heaven and all was right with the world.
